Afternoon course

The course is taught by a Polish-speaking teacher and runs from March 10 to June 2025. You will get access to recordings and materials on an online platform, allowing you to study flexibly and at .

For Poles living in Dresden and the surrounding area who have not yet attended a German course or would like to refresh their knowledge from the basics. Classes take place on-site, with the option of online participation.

Grammar and structures

  • Use modal verbs (must, should, may, can)
  • Form correct subordinate clauses with because, if, that
  • Use prepositions correctly (in, on, at, to) and explain differences in usage
  • Form sentences in present perfect and past perfect (e.g. I have read the book.)
  • Build conditional sentences (e.g. If I had time, I would travel.)
  • Compare adjectives and use them in sentences (high – higher – the highest)

Mondays 7:15 p.m. – 8:35 p.m.

To this end, we regularly organize tandem meetings — informal, free encounters between Poles learning German and Germans learning Polish.
At these meetings, participants have the opportunity to practice both languages in alternating pairs.

The meetings are suitable for all language levels — from beginners to advanced learners. Teachers moderate the meetings (if needed), ensuring smooth progress and offering helpful support.

After each lesson, you will receive an email with a summary of what was discussed — including grammar explanations, vocabulary lists, and additional links. This allows you to easily catch up on missed material at home.

Thanks to the learning platform e-polish.eu, you also have the opportunity to work interactively on exercises, replay dialogues, and listen to audio, all in combination with the book you are familiar with.
